Now in its 35th year, the Springwood Art Show has gained a reputation for being one of the outstanding events in the Blue Mountains with over 1000 pieces offered for sale.
The Art Show promotes artists as well as providing a showcase for new and emerging artists and artisans from the Blue Mountains and beyond. Also on offer is a beautiful array of artisan crafts, such as handcrafted jewellery, silks, woodwork and leather bags and wallets.
The Art Show Committee works very hard to maintain the professional standards expected by our visitors and our sales reflect those high standards. Co-ordinated by the Parents and Citizens Association of Springwood High School, all proceeds go towards purchasing equipment for our school students.
This year our featured artist was Tricia Coop, who won the Viewers' Choice prize last year with her oil painting depicting the 'Breadknife', the famous rock formation.
This year's deadline for application is August 13th.
